Bread Halwa (Double Ka Meta)

Ingredients:

  1. Bread 1 (100g)
  2. Sugar 200g
  3. Water 50ml
  4. Sterlised  milk 1cup
  5. Gee 6-8tsps
  6. Elaichi powder 1/2spn
  7. Dry fruits
Process:

  1. Take the bread and cut the 4 sides of the bread.
  2. Keep that bread slices in open, dry and nondusty place upto bread slices become dry.
  3.  (if we do like this the bread slices can not absorb  the extra gee.
  4. Cut the bread slices in to small peices for easy to roast.
  5. Take a pan and add 1tspn of gee and dry fruits.make it fry upto till golden colour.
  6. Take the dry fruits into the same bowl and add bread peices to the pan.
  7. Make it fry on low flame.upto bread slices tends to go  golden brow colour.
  8. Take a pan and add sugar and water. Sugar desolves in water.stir with spoon upon little thick (teega pakam).
  9. Add 1spn of gee to avoid large thick (muduru pakam).
  10. Add Fried bread peices to the sugar syrup.Mix it well. If u want just like a smooth pattern smash it with spoon other wise no need to do this.
  11. Cook upto 8-10 mins.Add sterlised milk to prepared halwa. Add remaining gee.
  12. Mix it well and cook upto 5mins.Add elaichi powder, and fried dry fruits.
  13. Take it into a serving bowl and see it.
