Banana Soup Curry (Arati Kaya Pulusu)

Ingredients:

  1. Vegetable banana 1
  2. Onion 1
  3. Green chillis 3
  4. Tamarind  25g
  5. Water sufficient
  6. Dry chilli powder 1spn
  7. Termeric powder 1/4spn
  8. Oil 2spns
  9. Popu (tuvar dal, urad dal, avalu, cumin seeds, dry chilli, Inguva, garlic clove)
  10. Curry leaves
  11. Corrinder
  12. Salt as per taste
Process:
  1. Clean and peel the banana. Again clean it and drop in the water.Take tamarind juice by adding water.
  2. Chope the banana and cut the onions, chillis just like slices.
  3. Take a vessel and add some water, choped banana,onion slices, chilli slices, salt.
  4. Boil upto onion,chilli  slices partically cooked.
  5. Add dry chilli powder, termeric powder and cook another 2mins.
  6. Now add tamarind juice and cook upto the soup comes to some thick.
  7. Now take a pan prepare popu.
  8. Add curry leaves.Make it fry.
  9. Now add the popu to the prepared soup and again cook upto 3mins.
  10. Take it into serving bowl and garnish with corrinder.
  11. Now the banana soup is ready.serve hotly with rice.
Note:

  1. Before peeling spread 2-3 drops of hair oil  through out your palms.Because banana have some  sticky nature.Our palms tends to black allover that day.
  2. The peeled banana,choped banana must and drop in water.upto ready for cooking.Other wise the banana tends its colour, taste also.
  3. I prefer popu as last step for expecially for soups. because if we add popu at last. when we are eating some popu flavour is in my mouth.I like that feeling.
