Ingredients:
Bitter Gourd 500g
Onion 1
Oil 5tsps
Dry Chilli Powder 3sps
Garlic Cloves 2
Roasted Bengal Gram (Putnala papu) 4tsps
Cumin seeds 1/2spn
Popu (Turvar dal,Urad dal,dry chillli,Avalu,Cumin seeds,Inguva)
Curry leaves
Salt as per taste
Process for Papu karam:
Grind: Cumin seeds, Roasted bengal gram, Dry chilli powder, Salt and Garlic Cloves.
Process:
- Clean and peel the bittter gourd and cut in sllices.
- Add some salt to spices and just mix with spoon.
- Wait for 10mins.
- Take a pan add some oil.
- Slices release some water take it out and just press with hands and release them into boiled oil.
- Make it fry till golden brown.
- Take another pan and add oil add prepare popu. add onion slices to popu and make it fry.
- Add fried Bittergourd sllices,add papu karam. and mix it.keep on heat upto 2 min.
- Take it into serving boul and serve it.
