Sweet Pongal (Chakra pongali) with out milk

Ingredients:

  1. Rice 1cup
  2. Treacle(bellam) 1 1/2cup 
  3. Water for rice 2 1/4cups
  4. Water for treacle 6tsps
  5. Gee 4tsps
  6. Borneo kamphor 1pinch
  7. Elaichi powder 8g
  8. Cashew nuts
  9. Almounds

Process:

  1. prepare the rice by adding rice and water.
  2. Take a vessel and add 1tspn of gee.
  3. Add cashew nuts,almounds and make it fry.
  4. Take them into  the plate and add treacle and water.
  5. The treacle is desolved.stir with spianch.
  6. Wait till treacle is little thick.
  7. After that add gee to the treacle and mix  with  rice, borneo kamphor, elaichi powder, fried cashew nuts, almounds.
  8. The mixer should not be thick. The Treacle will appear at top.
  9. Take it in to the serving bowl.
  10. Now Sweet pongal is ready serve.

Note:

After 2 hours the dish will be automatically thick.don`t bother about that.
