Poori With Potato Gram Flour Curry

Ingredients for poori:


  1. For 3 poories
  2. All purpose flour (Maida) 1cup
  3. White Upma rava 2tsps
  4. Oil 1spn
  5. Water 1/4cup-1/2 cup
  6. Salt pinch
  7. Oil sufficient for deep fry
Ingredients for Potato Gram flour curry:


  1.  Potato (Allu) 1 
  2. Gram flour 1 1/2tsps
  3. Onion 1
  4. Green chillis 2
  5. Dry chilli powder
  6. Termeric powder 1/4spn
  7. Oil 2spn
  8. Popu (tuvar dal, urad dal, avalu, cumin seeds, dry chilli)
  9. Water 1cup
  10. Salt as per taste
  11. Curryleaves
  12. Corrinder
Process for Poori:


  1. Take a bowl. Add allpurpose flour, upmarawa, oil, salt.mix it well and make a hole at center and pour some water and mix it.
  2. Mix the dough by rounding mixed dough and bowl.
  3. Gradually add litter ammont of water to prepare smooth dough.
  4. Now  Dough is prepared.close that bowl with a cover and keep it in a warm place.
  5. Wait for 30mins.
  6. After that divide the dough into equal parts. Round it with u r hands.
  7. Dip in to All purpose flour and start rolling with rolling pin.
  8. Turn and add some flour and  again roll it with rolling pin.
  9.  Repeat this process upto the dough explanding roundly with 2mm thickness.
  10. Now take a pan and add oil to the pan for deep fry. Heat the oil.
  11. After heating the oil release the prepared poori ( Expanded dough)  into the oil.
  12. Press the poori with spoon and turn to the another side. Make it fry Well on both sides light  gold colour.
  13. Now the poori is ready.serve it hotly.
Process for Poori With Potato Gram Flour Curry:


  1. First boil the allu. Remove the layer and smash it.
  2. Cut onion just like slices (not onion rings it is half ring) and chope the chilli.
  3. Take bowl and add gram flour and some water. mix it slowly to avoid lumps. If any lumps is there smash them with spoon and mix it well.
  4. Take a pan and add oil to the pan and prepare popu.
  5. After that add onion slices and choped chillis. Fry it well.
  6. Add smashed allu tothe pan make it fry upto 2mins.
  7. Add salt, termeric powder, dry chilli powder and make it fry for 1min.
  8. Reduse the flame and add the Watery gram flour mixer slowly and stir the curry with other hand.
  9. Here two works are happen at a time (adding Watery gram flour mixer and  stir the curry).
  10. Other wise lumps forming.
  11. Add some more water and mix it well.
  12. Cock upto the curry become thick. (it need 5 mins time on low flame.)
  13. Mix it well and add corrinder.
  14. Serve hotly with poories.


Note: 
    If u have no time for preparing curry you just take them with sugar. It gives good taste to the poori.
